Rooted in Faith. Renewed by Grace. Growing Together.
Roots hold stories. They tell where life began, what seasons were survived, and how new growth continues to reach for the light. In every season, God has been faithful to deepen our roots so that our faith, hope, and love might grow stronger.
This fall, our Rooted and Renewed campaign invites us to live into that same story. Together we are learning that giving is not about equal gifts but about equal sacrifice. When we each give in gratitude and trust, our shared generosity becomes a living witness to what God can do through us.
This year also brings an important and hopeful change. The ministry once called Faith Promise, which supported local, national, and international mission partners, will now grow from the same root system as our general ministry budget. By uniting all giving into one shared commitment, we are expressing a deeper truth. Everything we do is mission. Every class taught, every child nurtured, every meal served, and every act of compassion offered in Christ’s name are all part of the same living tree that bears fruit for the kingdom of God.
Having one unified budget allows us to see more clearly how the ministries of Fountain City United Methodist Church are connected. The same nourishment that strengthens worship also sustains mission and outreach. The same generosity that supports children and youth also reaches those in need in our community and around the world. It all flows from one source, the renewing grace of God.
As you prayerfully complete your commitment card for 2026, consider how your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness can nurture the roots of this church and extend its branches of love even further.
Rooted in faith and renewed by grace, together we will grow.
