Recreational Ministry Matters At Fountain City UMC
Recreational Ministry helps people connect in active and relational ways by creating welcoming spaces, building connection and belonging where relationships can grow, and faith can be shared. Through sports, fitness, and shared activities, FCUMC meets people where they are and invites them into Christian community supporting whole person discipleship.
Current Recreational Activities:
Pickleball: Mondays at 12 p.m.
Wednesdays at 12 p.m.
Thursdays at 12 a.m.
Basketball: Thursdays at 7:45 p.m.
Youth Open Gym: Thursdays at 6p.m.
Friday Family Fun Night: Begins May 22 from 6-9 pm in Old Fellowship Hall. There will be karaoke and games! Bring a friend!
Community members are always welcome at events hosted by the church which is not only a place of learning and worship, but also a place of celebration, encouragement, and shared life.
Recreation reminds us that joy, play, and rest are part of God’s design for community.
