Mahjong and Mingle is a low pressure community gathering designed to help people learn American Mahjong, meet new friends, and experience the hospitality of Fountain City United Methodist Church. Some questions you may have:
- Do I need to know how to play American Mahjong to attend? No, we will introduce a necessary skill/tip at the beginning of each lesson as well as use a format called “guided play” to assist new players.
- Will this group be right for me if I already know how to play mahjong? Yes, when you register we will ask you to tell us your level of experience in playing and will assign your table accordingly.
Come join a relaxed afternoon of fun and connection. This will be a six-week pilot to gauge community interest. Play will 1:00-3:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, July 15 through August 19.
