Join Our Team! Guest Connections Coordinator (Part-Time)
Fountain City United Methodist Church (Knoxville, TN) is hiring a Guest Connections Coordinator to help newcomers and long-time members feel welcomed, known, and connected.

About the Role:
This 10-hour/week position focuses on personalized guest follow-up, reconnecting with members who’ve been away, and guiding people toward deeper involvement in the church community. You’ll help people move from first-time guest to active participants in worship, small groups, classes, and ministry teams.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
• Has a heart for hospitality and people
• Can communicate with warmth and clarity (email, phone, in person)
• Is organized, self-motivated, and tech-comfortable
• Wants to make a spiritual difference by helping people belong

What You’ll Do:
• Lead a team who will follow up with guests in note writing, emails, or calls
• Track and maintain contact info in our church database
• Lead a team of volunteers in our Welcome Center
• Reconnect with those who’ve been away
• Assist with “Meet Fountain City” and other connection events
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to improve hospitality efforts

Compensation: $15-20/hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule: Weekdays are flexible, but it will require Sunday morning attendance.

FCUMC offers four distinct worship experiences including a large Celebrate Recovery Ministry, a newly established Warming Center for the area, age level discipleship opportunities as well as hands-on missions and more.
