The Melton Scholarship is open to persons who have participated in the music program of Fountain City UMC and plan to pursue a career in education or music. For details, please contact our Music Director, Leslie Hill.
Charles Sloan Memorial Scholarship
The Charles Sloan Memorial Scholarship provides funds to assist students in completing their college educations. Recipients will be considered on the basis of need and the condition of the student maintaining satisfactory scholastic performance. and priority is given to members of FCUMC and intend to study a curriculum connected with the church.
Jay Garrison Adult Education Fund Scholarship
The Jay Garrison Adult Education Fund provides financial aid to adult students pursuing further education through GED, college, trade school, or other recognized programs. Funds cover most costs associated with education including tuition, fees and childcare, as well as books, supplies, and transportation costs necessary to achieve educational goals. UMC Higher Education Foundation
UMC-related institutions have a long history of both academic excellence and encouraging students to build a world that is just and embodies the Social Principle of the UMC. The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation makes it financially possible for Methodist students to attend UMC-related institutions of higher education, awarding over $2 million in scholarships annually. Their Dollars for Scholars program provides $1,000 matching scholarships to students attending UMC-related institutions who have received a $1,000 scholarship from their local church.
