Prayer Journaling and Pray Beads: A Fervent Journey | January 7 - April 29
We will explore how prayer can become more focused, powerful, and personal through two practical tools-prayer journaling and prayer beads. Using insights from Priscilla Shirer's book Fervent, we'll learn how to approach prayer with intention and strategy, turning our conversations with God into a source of strength and peace. Each session will guide you in:
• Prayer Journaling: recording your prayers, scriptures, and reflections to deepen your walk with God and track His faithfulness over time.
• Prayer Beads: discovering how this simple tool can help you slow down, focus, and engage in prayer with greater consistency.
• Scripture and Strategy: drawing from Shirer's book, Fervent, to identify areas where the enemy tries to distract us and how we can pray with boldness, clarity, and purpose.

Whether you are new to prayer journaling, curious about prayer beads, or looking to renew your prayer life with fresh direction, this class offers encouragement and hands-on practice. Come ready to grow, create, and discover new ways to stay fervent in prayer. Facilitators: Melissa Charles and Andrea Mccarter

Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living | April 8-May 5
What does it mean to live as a United Methodist? This five week study of Rueben Job’s Three Simple Rules — Do No Harm, Do Good, Attend to the Ordinances of God — offers practical insights for daily life and discipleship. Each week features a different teacher, providing diverse perspectives within a shared journey. Sponsored by Rev. Dr. Tony Collins, this class invites reflection, conversation, and growth for all seeking a Wesleyan path.

Jesus and the Disinherited | April 8-May 5
Howard Thurman offers a spiritual roadmap for those who are oppressed, guiding toward liberation, dignity, and strength. This five-week study invites a deeper understanding of ourselves and our neighbors through themes of fear, deception, hate, and love. The sessions will explore how Thurman’s insights illuminate daily living, decision making, and justice from a faith-centered perspective. Led by Charley Gray and Rev. Rachel Collins, the course encourages reflective discussion, shared learning, and practical steps for applying the teachings in everyday life.

We look forward to seeing everyone for Fountain City Fellowship on Wednesday nights!
