Practicing the Way -> Life together through spiritual practices

Length: 10 week study
Led By: Jennifer Smith
What does it mean to follow Jesus in the midst of busy schedules, endless distractions, and everyday responsibilities? In this Wednesday Night class, we'll journey through Practicing the Way by Mark Comer and explore how spiritual formation happens when we intentionally shape our lives around the way of Christ.
Together, we'll explore spiritual practices that help us become apprentices of Jesus: people who are with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Through discussion, reflection, and simple habit forming work, we'll discover how following Christ transforms not only our faith, but also our relationships, work, and daily routines.
As we seek to live out the greatest commandments, this class will help us grow in loving God, loving our neighbors, and loving ourselves as beloved children of God. Whether you're new to spiritual disciplines or have practiced them for years, you're invited to deepen your walk with Christ and explore what it means to faithfully follow Jesus today.

The Gospel of Mark: Following Jesus’ Journey
Join in with Young at Heart for a study of the Gospel of Mark led by Rev. Rachel. This class will take a deeper dive into Mark’s Gospel, exploring its major themes, stories, parables, and the hope found throughout Jesus’ ministry.
Together, we will examine how Mark reveals Jesus as the Messiah who came to serve, heal, teach, and bring God’s kingdom near. This group is a place to ask questions, share insights, and grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus alongside others.
Whether you are a longtime viewer of The Chosen or new to the series, come be part of the conversation as we explore the story of Jesus in a new way.
