Faith in Action: Reaching Out to Serve our Community
At Fountain City UMC, faith isn’t just something spoken about on Sundays — it’s something lived out every day. With open hearts and helping hands, our church reaches beyond our walls to support the community and our neighbors.
From serving hot meals to offering clothing, prayer, and friendship, FCUMC is committed to being a beacon of light in the community. Through regular outreach programs like the Open Door Community Meal, Blessing Box, and clothing drives, the FCUMC congregation is putting the love of Christ into action — one act of kindness at a time.
Jesus calls us to love our neighbors. We want everyone who walks through our doors — or meets us in the community — to know they are seen, valued, and loved.

Community Meal | Fourth Thursday Each Month
5:30 PM in Wesley Hall
Join us as we open our doors to the community for a warm meal and fellowship! Everyone deserves a warm meal and a welcoming place to belong. If you or someone you know could use a helping hand, a friendly face, or simply a good meal, we invite you to join us for our Open Door Community Meal. The community meals are open to everyone in the church, our housed and unhoused neighbors, and anyone else who is HUNGRY. We have some great cooks so come and eat with us free of charge!
