200th Anniversary of Fountain City United Methodist Church

Fountain City United Methodist Church is celebrating our 200th anniversary in 2025! We have much to celebrate as a church living out our mission of Making Disciples and Changing Lives. Check out a special publication titled 200 Years By The Springs penned by Rev. Dr. James A. Dougherty detailing our rich history from Circut Riders On The Frontier to our modern day church at 212 Hotel Road.

All are welcome at a very special worship service celebrating the 200th anniversary of FCUMC!

Sunday, September 21
• Combined Worship Service with Holy Communion: 10:30 a.m. (No 8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. service)
• Guest Preacher: Bishop David Graves, Episcopal Leader of the Kentucky-Tennessee Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church. (Bishop Graves grew up in our church.)
• Free Meal to Follow

Invite your friends, family, and neighbors—near and far—to take part in this momentous 200th Anniversary Celebration. Come worship with us, share in Holy Communion, enjoy fellowship over a meal, and rejoice in God’s continued blessings! We look forward to celebrating with you.
