“…and give us this day our daily bread…” We pray these words frequently in worship. Daily bread means more than actual bread. It means bread of life. Jesus referred to himself as the Bread of Life. We don’t have to think very hard to realize that, as much as we think we are self-sustaining people, we are ultimately sustained by the God who is named I AM.
We hope you will take this opportunity to “sample” worship styles other than those you normally experience. Since we are in the season of Lent, we have even more reason to practice spiritual disciplines which include private devotion (click here) and meditation, prayer and fasting (click here), introspection and journaling.
